About the role
As an integral member of the IAG Cargo Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of our strategic agenda. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and synthesising market and business intelligence, competitor activity, and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making across the business.
What you’ll do
Conduct comprehensive market, competitor, and industry analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
Convert long-term market analysis into scenario planning and actionable business opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making.
Deliver clear, concise, and actionable insight reports and presentations to inform strategic planning and business decisions.
Deliver strategy projects that require cross-departmental review or input, ensuring an independent and neutral perspective is maintained throughout.
Support the development of strategic recommendations by providing robust external data and analysis.
Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and relevance of external insight to business priorities.
Monitor and report on competitor strategies, market developments, and regulatory changes, providing timely updates to the Strategy and Transformation team.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our insight and analysis capabilities, adopting best practices and innovative approaches.
Maintain a strong understanding of the broader business context and evolving industry landscape.

Skills
Strong analytical and research skills, with experience in market or competitor analysis.
Demonstrated experience delivering projects that require cross-functional collaboration and independent judgement.
Proven ability to translate market analysis into scenario planning and business opportunity identification.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in an analytical role
Experience in consulting or finance, or business analysis role is desirable.
