About the role
The Commercial Performance Manager is a key part of our evolving Commercial function with responsibility for surfacing key insights through data that drive tangible actions to protect and grow performance metrics. Managing a small team and working with stakeholders at all levels across IAG Cargo, the role will own the transformation of Commercial reporting by developing new and innovative ways to surface, interpret, and act on proactive performance reporting by turning complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and unlock value across the business. Working closely with teams across Commercial, Sales, Operations, Data and Analytics and the wider business to lead performance deep-dives, and shape the way we visualise and communicate our commercial performance.
What you’ll do
- Own and evolve the suite of commercial performance reporting, developing intuitive real time dashboards and visual tools that bring performance insights to life for stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide teams across Contribution Management and wider Commercial area with proactive insight that drives improved commercial decision making, helping grow IAG Cargo’s contribution.
- Lead ad hoc analysis on key commercial topics, performance challenges, or business opportunities, providing clarity and direction through data.
- Interrogate large data sets from different systems and sources to uncover key themes and insight into business performance, providing proactive recommendations to Commercial teams on actions to be taken as a result of insight.
- Use data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and recommend actions that improve contribution and commercial effectiveness.
- Surface data in new and innovative ways that drives department wide curiosity and commerciality.
- Accountable for core daily/weekly/monthly reporting and insight, presenting this to senior stakeholders including the IAG Cargo Executive Team.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and other Commercial teams to embed insights into planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
- Work with data owners and technology teams to ensure robust data governance and continuous improvement of data availability and reporting processes.
- Monitor competitor activity and macro trends to anticipate changes in capacity demand and supply, demonstrating through data the consequences of external market changes to the IAG Cargo business

- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Analytical and data-driven approach with creative problem-solving abilities.
Skills and Experience:
- Working with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Excel.
- Experience working within the logistics or airline industry to improve commercial and customer outcomes.
