About the role
IAG Cargo is delivering an ambitious new strategy, with operational transformation at its heart. Reporting to the Operations Strategy Delivery Manager – Madrid, you will play a key role in shaping and executing this strategy by delivering transformational projects at your home hub.
You’ll implement new systems and processes that modernise our cargo operations. Collaboration across hubs is essential, and you’ll be expected to share knowledge and support other hub deployments both remotely and on-site. Flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours activity may be required.
Success in this role demands working at pace, adaptability, and a strong drive to make things happen. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, influence operational leaders and colleagues, and ensure their feedback is heard and addressed. You’ll also manage strategic relationships with suppliers and partners, ensuring alignment with business goals.
What you’ll do
- Define, analyse, and implement operational process changes aligned with IAG Cargo’s strategy at your home hub, and support at IAG Cargo´s sister hubs.
- Interpret data to provide insights that inform decisions, including scenario evaluation and cost-benefit analysis.
- Identify, log, and manage risks.
- Attend working groups and present in steering committees to drive key decisions.
- Direct operational teams and oversee execution of change initiatives.
- Monitor post-implementation performance to ensure objectives are met.

Skills and Experience:
- Stakeholder engagement and influence.
- Process design and implementation.
- Data analysis and reporting in academic or business settings.
- Awareness of logistics and air cargo operations, including IAG Cargo and its competitors.
